A clean foundation seems to be an integral beginning for establishing anything long-lasting and beautiful. It feels so simple but also seems so complex in even mentioning something so basic in terms of framework for anything of worth and merit. One does not need any construction or masonry skills to know that without a solid foundation, no matter how beautiful or strong a building is or may seem, if the foundation is divided than no amount of skeletal framework or facades will ever hold up a house of cards.
The beauty of Jesus as our Love, Lord, and Saviour has been and always is a solid, clean, and beautiful foundation that can be stacked upon and pressed into. A house that can not only withstand the elements, but also be pressed into and leaned upon so that long-suffering and trust is sewn into one's spirit and establishes truly good characteristics that are valuable to God as they are Christ-like--that which we admire:
